My shield arrived this very day, and it was still fresh. Having a quick feel of it, the trap handle ssytem works beautifully. Unlike single bar handles, the shield glues to your arm. This shield is bigger than you think too, 30" does not sound like much, bu this shield covers me from shoulder to waist easily, and I am 6'
